Twenty members entered this event where players have a different partner each round ... in this case fifteen different partners for the session.

Individual play can produce unexpected results, and this one was no different ... Novice player Daryll Knowles emerged as winner, with Kathy Ivits and Robin Vaughan tying for second spot.

Daryll has been a club member for only a few months and admits he is still finding his feet at the bridge table. He developed an interest in bridge when on a cruise and joined lessons on board from BWBC members George Boettiger and Matt Raj Mal. Being a Central Coast local he (naturally) joined Brisbane Water BC and is now a Tuesday regular. George playing in this Individual event was trumped by his student!

8 teams entered the Teams of 3 event in what was an enjoyable afternoon ... bridge was accompanied by a feast of sandwiches, quiches and sweets.

Ed Vaughan's team of Carolynne Mucharsky, Blair Glass and Denyse Stephens shone with three wins ... but the Teams of 3 is to promote sharing knowledge and experience, winning is a side issue. 
Many of the less experienced players (including Gina, Tuck & Stuart  from CCLCBC ... welcome !) were being introduced to bridge teams.

This was the club's second Teams of 3 this year, it is a popular event for less experienced players and the "experienced" captains alike.
