ANZAC Day Pairs | Brisbane Water Bridge Club

Fifteen duos contested the ANZAC Pairs red point event held on a solemn Monday. There were many testing hands and keeping your eyes peeled for winning card combinations was essential during this difficult session. Jacqueline Wilson and Chris Hasemore took the honours scoring a 62% win, 4% clear of the nearest challengers. Club stalwarts Ed and Robin Vaughan picked up 2nd spot with Lorraine Lindsay & Richard Carter taking 3rd edging out Sylvia Foster & Jaan Oitmaa.

We are keen to run a ‘Rookie’ contest in conjunction with each red point event. Unfortunately, the numbers were just not there today and we need a minimum of 3 tables to go ahead... maybe next time
