BWBC Score Top Spot on the Podium in ‘Coast Event’

Twelve teams representing Gosford - CCLCBC, Bateau Bay - Community Bridge Club) and Brisbane Water entered the Interclub Teams event held at the Gosford Leagues Club. The event went right down to the wire with BWBC Team Tomlinson hoping to overtake round 5 leaders Gosford Team Clarke. At the same time Gosford Team Mills were also in a winning position but would have to score a BIG final round. Our congratulations go to BWBC Team Tomlinson taking 1st spot with a 5-0-1 score card. The winning margin was a slender one point buffer over their nearest rivals (Gosford Team Mills).

IC Teams winners

BWBC fielded 4 teams all keen to improve on their last Gosford outing. Team Foster finished 4th disappointed not to repeat their winning ways from previous years.  Team Hume slipped to 8th after holding 2nd place at the end of round 4.

The event was directed by Ronnie Ng who kept a firm eye on proceedings.
Gosford supplied drinks and nibbles at the close of play which was greatly appreciated by a hungry mob errr… group of players.
