Under the BWBC constitution, there can only be 5 Life Members at any time, and they are proposed and elected as Life Members at a General Meeting.
I spoke with the current Life Members of BWBC separately and found they shared several qualities and comments – all have a love of the game of bridge and have enjoyed playing at BWBC ‘s various premises over the years. They have appreciated their teachers and also the club members they themselves have been able to help. All commented on the pleasure they have had hosting and going to the many Congresses around, extending their skills and enjoyment beyond their BWBC network. All have spent many hours in playing the game and gathered in their share of Masterpoints
All have given many hours, in formal roles as well as casually and are generous in their friendship and warmth towards others, qualities that have made the BWBC what it is, and them worthy Life Members.
